Neil Diamond is his name. He’s a sweetheart Dogo Argentino. He has however shown some aggression towards certain types of people. Some time it’s just random. He picks on someone for no reason. I want to know why. So I’m learning as much as possible about his breed right now. It seems to be the most responsible action I can take knowing what I know about him, if I plan on keeping him and having a happy life. Here’s a little excerpt about his breed. It’s so interesting!
Dogo Argentino History
:In 1925, two Argentinean brothers—Antonio and Agustin Martinez—came up with the idea of a boar-hunting dog that would be both brave and sociable. Crossing nine breeds (including the Spanish Mastiff, Bulldog, Great Dane, Bull Terrier, Irish Wolfhound, Great Pyrenees, Dogue de Bordeaux, Pointer and Boxer) with a local canine called the Cordoba, they created the Dogo Argentino. The result was a fine hunter, a great working dog and a loyal friend.
